Mercy Center Hospital
Hospice House
2012 - 2015
The 11,000-square-foot facility will include eight beds on 1.3-acres and cost about $5.6 million to develop. Our Rotary had the privilege of helping fund this development with a $15,000 contribution. Learn more about the Hospice House here.
Riverhouse Children's Center
Building Grant
2010 - 2012
Riverhouse Children’s Center is a nonprofit child development center providing child care and early education services for children from six weeks through five years old. Our Rotary donated $15,000 to help secure a building grant for their new facility.
Durango Public Library
Reading Room
2007 - 2009
From 2007 to 2009 our Rotary raised $25,000 for a new reading room at the Durango Public Library.
Buckley Park
Makeover
2006
In 2006 a team of our Rotarians helped renovate Buckley Park AND our club donated $25,000 to assist in the effort.
Community Recreation
Center Park
2000 - 2001
From 2000 to 2001 our Rotarians raised $50,000 for a park at the Community Recreation Center

In 1999 we helped improve the nature center trails for Durango Nature Studies
The Red Ball
Express
2002 - 2023
From 2002 until now the area Rotary clubs join together to run the exciting Redball Express at Purgatory Resort. So far the clubs have raised over $350,000 for their communities.

Studies Bridge
1998
In 1998 our Rotary built a footbridge that crosses the Florida River and leads to the heart of the site. Upon crossing the bridge, visitors step into the beauty of the Nature Center.
Riverwalk Planting
Mercy Hospital Section

In 1997 a team of our Rotarians helped beautify the Riverwalk Mercy hospital section with various plantings.
