Mercy Hospital – New Cardiac Cath Lab

$108,350 Community Grant from the Durango High Noon Rotary Club was given for new equipment!

Mercy Center Hospital Hospice House

This 11,000-square-foot facility includes eight beds on 1.3-acres and cost about $5.6 million to develop.  The Durango High Noon Rotary Club had the privilege of helping fund this development with a $15,000 contribution!

Riverhouse Children’s Center Building Grant

The Riverhouse Children’s Center is a nonprofit child development center providing child care and early education services for children from six weeks through five years old. The Durango High Noon Rotary Club donated $15,000 to help secure a building grant for their new facility!

Durango Public Library Reading Room

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club raised $25,000 for a new reading room at the Durango Public Library.

Buckley Park Renovation

A team of Durango High Noon Rotarians helped renovate Buckley Park AND our club donated $25,000 to assist in the effort!

Community Recreation Center Park

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club raised $50,000 for a park at the Community Recreation Center!

San Juan Mountains Association Nature Center Trails

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club helped improve the nature center trails at the SJMA Durango Nature Center.

The Redball Express

Redball Express is a local fundraising event organized by the Rotary Clubs of La Plata County. All proceeds from the event support Rotary projects in La Plata County and local programs for people in need or at risk.

Since the arrival of the Rotary Redball Express in La Plata County, the Rotary Clubs of Durango and Bayfield have raised over $500,000 for county wide service projects and donated funds to many local non-profits.

Durango Nature Studies Bridge

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club built a footbridge that crosses the Florida River and leads to the heart of the site.  Upon crossing the bridge, visitors step into the beauty of the Nature Center.

Riverwalk Planting – Mercy Hospital Section

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club helped beautify the Riverwalk Mercy hospital section with various plantings.

Animas Valley School Soccer Field

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club helped with the construction of new soccer fields at Animas Valley School.

Chapman Hill Ice Rink Sideboards

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club helped improve the sideboards of the skating rink to improve safety for all skaters.

Rotary Park

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club’s first big community project all started with Rotary Park in Durango!
